Music Ministry

The Choirs and Musicians support the ministry of the gospel of Jesus Christ through songs of praise and worship. We offer up the sound of instruments of music and voices blended in harmony to give honor to God and to usher His Presence into our midst. Bro. Jaylen James, Lead Musician.

Intercessors

Serving as the “eyes” in the Body of Christ, Intercessors are ultra-sensitive to the spiritual move of God. Through sense, hearing, and sight, prayers are ignited from their souls. The Word of God declares that these are “Watchmen”. Sister Glenda Murphy Sister Lillie B. Parham Sister Bertha Lee.

Media

The Media Ministry is responsible for videography, photography and sound system for worship service and other activities within the church. By recording the activities of the church, the Media Ministry delivers worship services to the homebound. Bro. James Houston, Director.

The Doorkeeper's Ministry

The Doorkeeper’s Ministry is committed to seating worshipers around the throne of God, while remaining attentive to the needs of the Pastor and worshippers. The Doorkeeper’s Ministry is responsible for distribution of bulletins and collecting offerings. Sister Linda Sims President Bro. Danny Ransom.

Benevolent Fund Program

We are a beloved community dedicated to assisting those in need. The benevolent fund program has assisted members of the church and residents of the community by providing food, clothing and financial assistance. Sister Felicia Lewis, Sister LaSheila Mearon.

Greeter's Ministry

We show the love of Christ to every visitor and member that enters the doors of the church. We ensure that they receive a smile, a hug, handshake, or a kind word. We are committed to making sure visitor’s needs are met by familiarizing them with our church. Sis. Sandra Thomas, Director.

Women's Missionary Society

The WMS is called to discipleship to grow in knowledge and committed to support the mission of the church. The WMS promotes global healing, hope and human dignity. WMS Society - Sis. Tamara Giles YPD - Sister Katrina James, Director Bro. Mark Brooks, President.

Clothing Closet

The WMS is called to discipleship to grow in knowledge and committed to support the mission of the church. The WMS promotes global healing, hope and human dignity. WMS Society - Sis. Tamara Giles YPD - Sister Katrina James, Director Bro. Mark Brooks, President.

Church School

Church school offers an invitation for learning the Bible. Structured in a class room setting, Church School affords an opportunity for adults and children to ask questions and enhance their spiritual growth. Sister Maggie Johnson, Superintendant Bro. Mark Safford, Assistant Superintendant.

Lay Organization

The Lay Organization embraces the history and traditions of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. The Lay Organization’s goal is to teach, train and empower its members for lay ministry, global leadership and service following the tenets of Christ. Sister Mary Banks, President.

Praise Dance

We are dedicated to ministering through the art of dance, mimes, and urban choreography. Because dance is a universal language, the Praise Dance Ministry is co-ed and comprised of all ages. When the Spirit of the Lord comes upon them they dance like David danced. Sister Ira Cummings
